# Cyrusher UK: which model should you buy?

## Honest note on the range

The fact that separates Cyrusher from every other brand on this site: 11 of its 18 current models carry a dual cadence-and-torque sensor, letting the rider switch between assistance that scales to effort and assistance that arrives whenever the pedals turn. Almost every dual-sensor bike in the whole catalogue is a Cyrusher; ADO, Engwe and Fiido currently offer none. Every model has suspension, and the range is entirely hub-motor with no mid-drive option. The cost is weight: everything except the entry-level Loop 2.0 folder is over 30 kg. The Loop 2.0 is also the exception to the brand's strengths — no dual sensor and no hydraulic brakes — so the cheapest way into the range is a different bike, not a smaller one. The range contains genuine duplicates: the Aura and Zenith are the same bike in step-through and high-step frames at the same price, as are the Trax 2.0 and Ranger 2.0.

## UK road legality

To be ridden as an ordinary bicycle on a public road or cycle path in Great Britain, an eBike must meet the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) rules: working pedals, a maximum continuous rated motor output of 250 W, and no motor propulsion above 15.5 mph (25 km/h). A throttle, if fitted, can need separate type-approval. This is Great Britain guidance; Northern Ireland publishes separate rules not covered here.

Every current Cyrusher we track publishes a 250 W continuous rating and a 25 km/h cut-off — manufacturer figures, not independently tested, and only two of the requirements. Confirm the exact UK configuration before assuming any model is road-legal as-is.
