🔓 Unlocking the speed — for riding abroad only
On the Engwe display:
- On the display, hold the + and − (up/down) buttons together for ~2 seconds to open the settings menu.
- Find the speed-limit parameter and raise it to the maximum.
- A separate setting toggles the readout between km/h and mph.
- Exact button combo and menu codes vary by display firmware — check your Engwe manual if yours differs.
