Drawback: At 39 kg it is among the heaviest bikes on this site. Plan for ground-floor or shed storage rather than carrying it upstairs.

Drawback: It is the exception to everything that makes the rest of the range distinctive: the only current Cyrusher without the dual cadence-and-torque sensor, and the only one without hydraulic disc brakes. You are paying less for a meaningfully different bike, not a smaller version of the same one.

Drawback: The 720 Wh battery is the smallest of the dual-sensor models, so it trades range for the lower weight.

Cyrusher Aura vs Cyrusher Zenith
These are the same bike in two frame styles, and the specification bears that out: identical £1,199 price, identical 95 Nm motor and 780 Wh battery, identical 34.3 kg weight, the same 26x4.0in tyres, the same 7-speed Shimano drivetrain and the same 150 kg payload, both released in January 2026. The Aura is the step-through and the Zenith the step-over. Choose on how you get on and off a heavy bike, not on capability — there is no performance difference to weigh up, and nothing is gained by paying more attention to the comparison than that.

This is the comparison worth actually thinking about, because £900 separates them and the headline numbers do not. Both carry the same 1,040 Wh battery — the biggest Cyrusher fits — and both are quoted at 85–95 Nm on a hub motor, so neither range nor pulling power is what you are buying. The Trax 2.0 spends the difference on hardware around the motor: a 9-speed Shimano CUES drivetrain against the Kommoda Pro's 7-speed, a DNM air shock, and four-piston brakes. If you ride varied terrain and want the gearing and damping, that is a real upgrade. If you mostly want the battery and the assistance, the Kommoda Pro delivers both for £1,399.

The clearest budget-versus-range decision Cyrusher offers. The Loop 2.0 is £699, folds, and weighs 28 kg — the lightest bike in the range. The Kommoda 3.0 is £1,199 and 37.7 kg. The extra £500 buys the two things the Loop 2.0 does without: the dual cadence-and-torque sensor that is the reason to look at this brand at all, and hydraulic disc brakes instead of mechanical ones, plus almost double the battery (960 Wh against 499 Wh). If the folding frame is what you need, the Loop 2.0 is the only Cyrusher that offers it — but be clear you are giving up the brand's defining feature to get it.

Cyrusher sells 18 current UK models spanning £699 to £4,599, through www.cyrusher.co.uk. This page compares every current model against every other so you can work out which one, if any, is actually the right buy — not just which one is cheapest.
The one fact that separates Cyrusher from every other brand here: 11 of its 18 models carry a dual cadence-and-torque sensor, letting the rider switch between assistance that scales to effort and assistance that arrives whenever the pedals turn. Across the whole catalogue we track, almost every dual-sensor bike is a Cyrusher — ADO, Engwe and Fiido currently offer none at all. If that switchable feel is what you are after, this is effectively the only brand on the site selling it in quantity. Every one of the 18 models also has suspension, which no other brand here manages across its whole range, and 10 of 18 ship hydraulic disc brakes.
The range is entirely hub-motor — there is no mid-drive Cyrusher — and 11 of the 18 models run fat tyres, the Flex being the single exception on 27.5x2.6in. Where Cyrusher is a weaker fit: weight. These are heavy bikes — the range runs 22.1 kg to 47.3 kg, and everything except the entry-level folder sits above 30 kg. That is fine to ride and a genuine problem to store: carrying one upstairs is a two-person job, and lifting one onto a car rack is not something to plan around. The 2 folding model, the Loop 2.0, is also the exception to the brand's own strengths — no dual sensor and no hydraulic brakes — so the cheapest way into the range is not a smaller version of the rest of it.
UK road legality, model by model
To be ridden as an ordinary bicycle on a public road or cycle path in Great Britain — no licence, registration, tax or insurance required — an eBike has to meet the Electrically Assisted Pedal Cycle (EAPC) rules: working pedals, a maximum continuous rated motor output of 250 W, and no motor propulsion above 15.5 mph (25 km/h). Every one of the 18 active Cyrusher models we track publishes a continuous motor rating at or below 250 W and a claimed top assisted speed around 25 km/h (15.5 mph) — consistent with the EAPC ceiling on paper. That is manufacturer-published data rather than something we have independently tested, and power plus top speed are only two of the requirements: the exact UK unit also needs its statutory markings and, if it has a throttle, the right approval for it. What Cyrusher does well: the dual cadence-and-torque sensor, on 11 of 18 models, is genuinely rare — the other brands we track offer virtually none between them, so if you want to switch between torque-scaled and cadence-triggered assistance this is where to look. Every model has suspension, which no other brand here manages range-wide, 10 of 18 ship hydraulic disc brakes, and payload runs to 200 kg on the Glider. Free UK delivery was recorded across the catalogue and stock has been consistently good at our checks.
Where it compromises: weight, first and last — 22.1–47.3 kg, with everything bar the folder over 30 kg. There is no mid-drive option anywhere in the range, so hill-climbing is done on hub torque alone. The Loop 2.0 at the entry price drops both the dual sensor and the hydraulic brakes, making it a different proposition rather than a cheaper one. And the range contains genuine duplicates: the Aura and Zenith are the same bike in two frames at the same price, as are the Trax 2.0 and Ranger 2.0 — worth knowing before you spend time comparing them as if they were different products.
